It's time for basketball!
A few schedule changes you should be aware of:
- There will be no practice for the 4th/5th grade team this Tuesday, 4/22 (tomorrow).
- No morning games on Saturday (4/26). JetSports is working on having a Magic basketball clinic that afternoon at Lake Mary Prep in lieu of games. Watch for info/email from JetSports.
- It does not look like we will be playing at Trinity Prep on 5/3 as scheduled. Further info to follow from Jets regarding location for those games.
Any questions, call Tim's (or my) cell or email. We will be out of town from evening of Tuesday 4/22 until probably Sunday.
Practice will be held at East Lake every Tuesday. K-3rd grade will practice at 3:30pm and 4th-5th grade will practice at 5:00pm. One practice will be held at the school each week. We're looking for parent volunteers to help out with many aspects of the team from practices to game days. Don't be shy. Get involved and help us make this a great season for our student athletes.

East Lake teams are a part of JET Sports whose mission is "to teach your children to love athletics by providing a fun and safe environment in which to learn and grow. Our goal is to help develop the strength and confidence all children need to continue in sports and to excel in life for years to come." The goal of the East Lake coaches is to ensure each athlete learns the fundamentals of the game while instilling respect for coaches, officials and their teammates. And, of course, to have a good time!
